Mr. G V Walimbe is a Chemical Engineer from NIT Raipur ‘84. He has over 33 years of rich experience in the Oil and Gas domain, most of which has been with MECON. As Executive Director of MECON, Mr. Walimbe oversaw the development of the company’s Oil & Gas SBU in providing value-added EPMC services. Under his leadership, MECON is currently providing services for approximately 6,500+ km of pipeline projects worth approximately 30000+ crores. He has extensive experience in handling multidisciplinary teams, and has held various roles and positions across business management, infrastructure development, project feasibility, engineering, project execution, construction management, Owner’s engineer, contract management, construction management, etc. Some of his achievements include executing the Jagdishpur-Haldia-Bokaro-Dhamra pipeline project, Gujarat and Cauvery replacement project, Karanpur-Moradabad pipeline project, Kochi-Kootanad-Bangalore-Mangalore pipeline project (Ph I & II), Ludhiana-Jalandhar pipeline project, Bawan Nangal pipeline project etc. He resides in Delhi and steers VCS as the President-Operations, working from our Noida office.
